Short answer
If your support team already lives in Intercom, Fin is a strong add-on. If you run a store and your customers message you on WhatsApp and Instagram, TAB costs a fraction of Fin at the same volume and connects straight to Shopify or Salla.
Fin is one of the best-known AI support agents, and it's good at what it does. It was built for teams that already run a helpdesk like Intercom or Zendesk, and the pricing shows it: you pay $0.99 every time Fin resolves something.
We built TAB for a different customer. Think of the store owner whose customers message on WhatsApp at midnight asking where their order is. They want one monthly price, no seats to buy, and an agent that can look the order up by itself.
How they compare

| What you pay for | Conversations, at a fixed monthly price | Each resolution, plus $19 per seat if you use the Intercom inbox |
| Channels | WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, web chat | Chat, email, WhatsApp, SMS, Instagram, Messenger, voice, Slack |
| Shopify | Finds products, builds the cart, sends a checkout link, checks orders | Reads order details such as status, items and tracking |

What 1,000 chats a month costs
Say your store gets 1,000 customer chats a month and the AI fully resolves 700 of them. On Fin that is 700 × $0.99 = $693, plus $19 for each Intercom seat if you use their inbox.
On TAB, 1,000 conversations are included in the Starter plan at $59.99 a month, whether the agent closes them or hands them to you. Fin only bills resolved chats, so its number drops if the AI resolves less. Even at 100 resolutions, though, that's $99.
Our take
If Intercom is already your helpdesk, keep Fin. For everyone else, and especially for stores selling on Shopify or Salla, TAB does the same job for a fixed price that's usually a small part of Fin's bill.
Fin is the better call if you need email, SMS, voice or Slack as support channels today, or if your team already works inside Intercom every day.
Questions people ask
Is Fin worth $0.99 per resolution?
It can be, if each resolution saves an agent several minutes and you already pay for Intercom. For a store answering hundreds of order questions a week, the cents add up: 500 resolutions is $495 a month on Fin, while 500 conversations is $29.99 on TAB's Lite plan.
Can I move from Fin to TAB without losing my help content?
Yes. Upload the same help articles, PDFs and FAQs to TAB, connect your channels, and test the agent in the Playground before you switch it on.
Does TAB speak Arabic like Fin?
Yes, TAB answers in Arabic and English. Unlike Fin, it also has a Salla app, so stores in Saudi Arabia can connect their catalog and orders directly.
